Event Details

Thank you for supporting our upcoming fundraiser. The overall goal of this initiative is to leverage the human and social capital of the Columbia Heights community for the benefit of its underprivileged children. Over 90% of students at Tubman Elementary qualify for free and reduced price lunch. By creating synergies between residents, local business owners, parents, students, and teachers, we hope to transform Tubman Elementary into a community school where all of its members are true stakeholders and active participants.

Funds from this event will support supplies and incentives for our tutoring program, parent-student-volunteer community building opportunities, educational greening initiatives, and other academic enrichment activities.
